Herrenhausen Summer Academy 2013
This year the Herrenhausen Summer Academy begins on 4 July 2013 and has as its motto “Herrenhausen – gardens, spirit and art”. The lectures will take place, as in the previous years, in the Wilhelm Busch Museum – German Museum for Caricature and Critical Graphic Art every Thursday at 6 pm. After the academic hour you will be able to talk about what you have heard in the museum’s beer garden until 10 pm.
Until 19 September experts will be talking on topics ranging from Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and Herrenhausen, through the frescoes in the gallery building and the programme of sculptures on the attic storey parapet of the newly rebuilt Herrenhausen palace down to the collections of plants in the Berggarten (botanical garden).
