The Friends of the Herrenhausen Gardens granted the first “Herrenhausen-Research-Fellowship” in 2014. It is under the patronage of the Friends’ Board of Trustees and the realisation of the fellowship programme is supervised academically by the Centre of Garden Art and Landscape Architecture (CGL) of the Leibniz University of Hannover.
The Fellowship is meant for academics who have been awarded a doctoral degree not more than 7 years ago. You will find the details of the fellowship and application process outlined below.
The fellowship is normally offered every two to three years. The next call for applications will be offered in summer 2018 for the Herrenhausen Fellowship 2019.
